Indianapolis - Mellie V. Galloway, 98, of Indianapolis died Friday afternoon at Crestview Nursing Home at Crawfordsville (sic - Indianapolis?). She formerly lived in the Galloway farm on Indiana 32, west of Crawfordsville. Mrs. Galloway was born Oct 10, 1890 to Jonathan and Alberta Peacock. Se was married to Robert J. Galloway who died in 1966. Surviving are a daughter, Maxine Sorrell of Indianapolis; two grandchildren; two step grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Graveside service will be at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Jim Ireland officiating. Hunt & Son Funeral Home is making arrangements.
